AP CHEM - Chapter 9 review
AP CHEM,
There are some practice Multiple Choice questions and a really old exam on Chapter 9 that I gave during my first few years of teaching under IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. Answer keys will be posted shortly. I would also review Chapter 8 as well seeing how the AP problems you will be asked to solve will undoubtedly link the two together.

General Chemistry - Gas Behavior WEBQUEST
The following WEBQUEST will serve as our main guide to learning the gas laws, kinetic molecular theory and nature of gas behavior. You can download the webquest here. Follow the directions on the webquest, using the websites provided. You will need to have some applications on your computer for the websites to work properly (i.e. java). ALSO, some of the website no longer exist so you may use these to supplement: This link can substitute for the Typical Motion of Matter site. This link can substitute for the Temperature Conversions site. This link can substitute for the Pressure in Gasses site. All of the other sites listed on the WEBQUEST were tested and work properly.
You must type answers to the questions. When possible, you should use complete sentences. If you want to insert pictures into your response, you may. However, text must accompany the pictures to explain your thoughts. You may work in groups.
This webquest is due November 30th. There will be a 10% deduction per day for late work including if you do not come to school on the 30th. My email works fine.

AP Chemistry - First Day Thoughts
Yo AP,
I spent enough time telling you how good at chemistry I am today that I thought I should let you know how impressed I was with YOUR chemistry knowledge. Mrs. Durivage (spelling?) did a fantastic job, but you deserve just as much credit. I am abnormally excited about teaching this year. I hope each day is as energetic and productive as today was. Thank you for a fantastic first day. Continue to surprise me with your brilliance. Also, please free up any wasted space in your brain (like an old locker combination or words to a song you don't like anymore). I plan on filling it.
