General Chemistry - Gas Law Assignment

Not feeling great after this week's exam?  Neither is my daughter.  It gave her pink eye.  So I am home (wearing safety goggles).  I am however extending the opportunity to increase your grade via an assignment that is due next Tuesday - the next day I will see all of you. If you drop Tuesday, turn it in anyways or I will take 10% off for each day it is turned in late.

The assignment:  Correctly fill out the following gas law problems.  You must show ALL of your work. Mixed Gas Law Worksheet


Please use this tutorial site to help with any issue you may have.  I would specifically look at information on the laws we learned, the combined gas law, and how to convert units using STP.

STP stands for standard temperature and pressure, which are designated to be 1 atmosphere of pressure (1 atm) and 0 degrees Celsius.

Upcoming Exam Reminder for EVERYONE

Reminder:  All classes (genchem and ap) have exams this week.  AP - Wed chapters 10,11&13.  Chem-1 Wed and Thurs unit 2 until the CONCEPTS of Gases.  Chem 4 - Thursday during your double unit 2 until the CONCEPTS of Gases.

What is Unit 2 you may be asking.  It starts with electron configurations and continues with bonding, Lewis structures, molecular geometry, periodic trends, chemical equations, changes of state and behavior of gases.
