General Chem - Acid/Base PROJECT
Remember to ALL GenChem classes...presentations begin tomorrow (Wednesday Nov. 2nd). Please either email me your projects ahead of time, share them on Google docs or bring a flash drive to make it easier to get started. Mac users...bring your laptop and stop up to see Mr. Charney for the correct adapter to hook up the projector BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS..
Also, for the group that has missed class time due to school related activities, your exam is still next week. There is a review packet that has been passed out. Stop in and get it early if you want to. Any material on the packet - and therefore the exam - that has not been covered in class can be found either on the PowerPoint, tutor websites or classroom textbook.

Acid/Base Lab - WEDNESDAY OCT. 5th
The lab handout for TOMORROW is located in the General Chemistry - lab work tab above. Read it. I would google image search some of the equipment to have an idea of what it looks like (i.e. 24-well plate). I will attach a color copy of the universal indicator/pH ranges tomorrow. Check out Universal Indicator on the image search as well. Remember I will have ONE COPY PER GROUP of the lab handout printed out for you tomorrow.

General Chemistry - QUIZ TOMORROW - UPDATE
I am feeling generous...therefore if you bring in a copy of the paper that lists the Ions, Charges and Elements to class tomorrow you may use it for the quiz. This is ONLY for this specific ionic compound quiz and will never ever ever happen again...
However, if you choose to attempt to study and learn the material the way I expect you to and NOT use the paper, I will be impressed.
Your Choice.

History of the Atomic Theory Timeline Presentation
The week of February 14-16 students in General Chemistry will be presenting the history of the atomic theory. Individual projects will be given in chronological order so the entire class will have an understanding of how we have come to the current model of the atom. Click on the link here to get the assignment details.
Due to the necessity of presenting in chronological order, penalties for late work will be severe. Late work will suffer a minimum drop in letter grade per day.
