By the end of our discussion on periodic trends, you will need to turn in the linked Periodic Trend Quiz for a grade.  You can start it now.  Work on it in groups.  Work on it while we cover the material. 

General Chemistry - 11/15 - 11/20 Material

Hello all.  You are currently studying for or finishing up your 1st trimester finals....but the science must go on.  For the brief time we are together before Thanksgiving Break, we will be looking at trends within the periodic table.  Please review the Prezi linked in the General Chemistry Study Resources Page.

More movies/animations than you have time to watch.  Pick the one(s) you think will help the most.


We will then be moving on to Similarities/Differences in Ionic vs Covalent bonding.  I would also read the book, watch the Prezis, and/or find some similar resources linked above to be ready for class.
